This ride is designed to be ridden in the winter, using slightly larger roads and the route does not go through any agricultural areas. Pass over the ridge, south of Tervuren, to Grez-Doiceau and Chaumont Gistou before joining the tree lined V147 cyclepath. Snake down to the river, passing through Namur until Marche Les Dames and a climb up to Egheze and Jodoigne. Continue on the V142 to Hoegaarden and Tienen then some faster roads to the south of Leuven and back to Tervuren.
